Helsinki - Peking
(Helsinki - Beijing)
A ten second segment originally intended for a documentary film, showing a Finnair airplane travelling from Helsinki to Beijing. Unfortunately the project was canned at the last possible minute and the director decided to use his own footage (you don't want to know how that looked like). Since the project was 95% finished at the time, I used it to experiment with Nuke and creating effects like depth of field in post. The results looked pretty enough and I decided to stick the whole thing here for everyone to see.
Apart from the actual airplane, I did everything myself. Modeling, animation and rendering in Lightwave, textures in Photoshop and post fun in Nuke.
